'Someshwar' is a beautiful town and legislative constituency in Almora district of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated on the bank of the Kosi River almost 10 km away from well known tourist place Kausani. Most of citizens of Almora consider that Someshwar is the heart of Almora. Someshwar is a name which is dedicated to lord Shiva, who is among three top gods of Hindus. Someshwar is holy place which is purely dedicated to Hindu's gods and goddess. Geography Someshwar is one of the well developed and connected places of Uttarakhand that is situated in foots of Himalaya. It is developed in the bank of Kosi and Sai rivers. one more river known as Mansa is in the close proximity. Basins of these rivers provide fertile land for agriculture at such a hilly terrain.
